Clinical Supervision is now available with Trelan Holder, MS, LCSW for those Licensed Master Social Workers in need of clinical hours to meet their LCSW requirements. Online Weekly Group Supervision will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM. The fee is $50 per session. First session begins Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

 

Biosketch

Trélan Nicole Holder, MS, LCSW is a skilled psychotherapist with extensive years of counseling experience in mental health and human services. Trélan attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Clark University, her Master of Science Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and a Certificate in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cardozo Law School. Moreover, she holds a Certificate in Supervision In Field Instruction (SIFI) from Silberman School of Social  Work at Hunter College.  Additionally, her clinical pursuits include: postgraduate psychodynamic psychotherapy training at the NYU Institute for Psycho-analytic Education. Trélan is an Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work and the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Courses taught: Early Development, Human Behavior and the Social Environment, Psychopathology, Health Care Systems—Mental Health, and Disability Policy, Practice, and Programs.

Professional/Leadership Positions: In 2014, Trélan founded Renew Perspectives, a professional corporation that is recognized by the NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT’S BOARD FOR SOCIAL WORK and provides continuing education for Licensed Social Workers. She has served as a Clinician and Director at the City College of New York (CCNY): Wellness and Counseling Center. Prior to her leadership at CCNY, she worked at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center, Adolescent AIDS Program. Ms. Holder’s previous work in human services spans across her municipal employment with New York City’s leading Child Welfare Agencies to her international academic pursuits at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she was selected to study as a Visiting Social Work Scholar (a collaborative with the New York University Steinhardt Graduate School of Education). Trélan served for five years as President of the Alumni Board of Directors at Columbia University School of Social Work.
