Online Weekly Group Supervision

Clinical Supervision with TRELAN HOLDER, MS, LCSW is available for those Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) in need of clinical hours to meet their Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) requirements. Group Supervision is also open to Professionals in the Child Welfare and Healthcare field absorbing traumatic content amidst this time of global uncertainty.

Supervision will explore how vicarious stress and trauma can impact a clinician’s emotional health. Consideration is given to the importance of being mindful of one’s personal well-being. If we are compromised with stress and experience “burn-out,” we potentially place our clients at risk of receiving less than quality support. Focus will be placed on identifying signs of Secondary Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, Burnout, Moral Injury and Self-Care Strategies for Stress Reduction.

Price: $125.00 per session (+ $3.94 GoToTraining/PayPal surcharge)

Prerequisites

Participants should already be working in a clinical setting with patients (ex. hospital, child welfare agency, school, private practice, fee-for service clinic, etc.) and providing therapy services, not limited to case management. The group supervision provides a space to process and address the psycho-dynamics of this work (assessment, diagnosis and psychotherapy treatment modalities) to support the practitioner’s independent work with their patients. 60-min supervision sessions will be held weekly, and can be attended on as needed basis.

NYSED Social Work Board Standards

Consistent with NYSED SW Board, LCSW’s must complete 3-years post MSW supervision for licensure eligibility. Therefore, LMSW participants must demonstrate that they have maintained a consistent patient case-load over a 3-year time span, and present relevant material for consultation. It is understood, that participants may be at various stages in meeting these standards (i.e. ranging from 1- 3 years post LMSW clinical experience).
